Carla Sánchez Armas

Carla Sanchez Armas is the Managing Director of Latin America for the Motion Picture Association (MPA), where she leads the organization’s policy, copyright, and production advocacy across the region. Before joining the MPA, she held high-level positions in the Mexican government, most recently serving as the Country Brand and International Media Coordinator for the Office of the Presidency, and managing communications for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs during the G20 Summit. A former local congresswoman in Mexico City and a recognized advocate for gender equity, she holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Harvard University and a BA in International Relations from Iberoamericana University.
