He has always worked in the fields of media strategy and management, and entertainment project management. He worked at major agencies before becoming a partner at Oficina de Marketing & Comunicação and a partner at Rebouças & Associados. Since 2002, he has been a Managing Partner at Mídia1 Comunicação. He was a professor in the Communication Program at PUC Rio from 1983 to 2024. He is the President of the Rio de Janeiro Media Group. He is the President of the Advertising Council of FICA (Federation of the Audiovisual Industry and Commerce).
