Virgínia de Ângelis is the National Secretary for Planning at the Ministry of Planning and Budget (MPO). A Federal Auditor of External Control at the Federal Court of Accounts (TCU) since 2006, she has been seconded to the MPO since 2023, where she previously served as Deputy Secretary and Director at the National Secretariat for Planning. She plays an active role in the reconstruction and strengthening of the government’s medium- and long-term strategic planning. At the TCU, her work focused primarily on oversight of public finance management. She is a member of the Executive Committee of the National Council for Industrial Development (CNDI) and serves on the boards of the National Fund for Scientific and Technological Development (FNDCT) and the Brazilian Agency for Industrial Development (ABDI).
