Vincent Carelli, french-Brazilian anthropologist and filmmaker, the founder of Vídeo nas Aldeias (Video in the Villages), a project that trains indigenous peoples to produce films about their culture and rights. He is the author of award-winning works such as Corumbiara and Martírio, and is active in Olinda promoting indigenous audiovisual autonomy.
