He is a journalist and activist from Rio de Janeiro, and the founder of Voz das Comunidades (Voice of the Communities), a community newspaper in the Complexo do Alemão. Recognized internationally, he is on the TIME list of Next Generation Leaders and was named one of the 100 most influential black people in the world.
