She is a director, screenwriter, consultant, and visual artist.

She holds a Master's degree in cinema from Sorbonne Nouvelle and trained at Le Fresnoy - Studio National des Arts Contemporains in France, and also studied actor direction at EICTV in Cuba.

Her work has been exhibited at major festivals and museums, including Locarno, Toronto, Rotterdam, New Directors/New Films, MoMA, and the New Museum, earning numerous awards—such as Best Director at the Chicago, Rio, and Brasília festivals.
