I'm passionate about Brazil and believe in a fairer, more inclusive country.

Born in São Gonçalo and raised in the suburbs of Niterói, I began my political activism early on alongside my work as a teacher. I served three terms as a state deputy in Rio de Janeiro, receiving the most votes in 2014.

In 2018, I was elected a federal deputy with 342,491 votes and led the opposition parties in the Chamber in defense of democracy. I won the Congresso em Foco award twice in the best federal deputy in Brazil category.

I currently serve in the Lula government as president of Embratur - the Brazilian Agency for International Tourism Promotion.
