Luiz “Cuti” Silva
He is a Brazilian writer, poet, and playwright. He holds a Ph.D. in Brazilian Literature from Unicamp (University of Campinas) and a Master's degree in Literary Theory, having graduated in Letters from USP (University of São Paulo). He co-founded the Quilombhoje group and was one of the creators of Cadernos Negros, publications dedicated to Afro-Brazilian literature. His work, which encompasses short stories, poems, and theater, focuses on the defense of literature and dramaturgy aimed at the Black Brazilian and criticism of racial prejudice.
