Luciana Barreto
She is a journalist, speaker, researcher, and writer. She holds a degree in Journalism from PUC-Rio and a master's degree in Ethnic-Racial Relations from Cefet-RJ.
She won the Abdias Nascimento National Journalism Award in 2012 for the program Caminhos da Reportagem – Negros no Brasil: brilho e invisibilidade (Reportage Paths – Black People in Brazil: Brilliance and Invisibility). She was named one of the Inspiring Women of 2015 by Think Olga. She received the Yes to Racial Equality Award in the "Race in Focus" category in 2018 for her media work against racism.
