Graduated in Cinema from UFF. In film, he directed 10 features until 2025. He directed 15 short films, receiving more than 127 awards at Brazilian and international festivals. On TV, he co-directed the series "Sexo e as negas" and "Pé na cova" on TV Globo, "Por isso eu sou vingativa" on Multishow, and "A dona da banca" on Cine Canal TV Brasil. He was the co-director of "Querido mundo" by Miguel Falabella. In 2018 and 2023, he was part of the Oscar committee. He teaches Directing and Assistant Directing at ABC.
