Daniel Campello is a copyright lawyer with a Master’s and PhD in Innovation, Copyright Law, and Development from UFRJ. He has worked in the music industry since 2007, focusing on rights management. He is the founder and CEO of ORB Music. As a lawyer, he represented the case of the unauthorized biography of João Guimarães Rosa—a decision that established the possibility of publishing without heirs’ consent and reinforced freedom of expression in Brazil.
