Cezar Migliorin
Cezar Migliorin is a professor in the Department of Cinema and the Graduate Program in Cinema and Audiovisual at the Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF) and a psychoanalyst. He holds a Ph.D. from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and the Université Sorbonne Nouvelle – Paris 3, and completed post-doctoral research at the Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP) and the University of Roehampton in England. He was a visiting professor at the Universität Salzburg in Austria and the Université Lumière Lyon 2 in France. An author of several books on cinema, politics, and clinical practice, he presided over the Brazilian Society of Film and Audiovisual Studies (SOCINE) and develops research on the connections between art and clinical practice.
