Carien Bastos is the CEO of Faro Rio Entertainment and Nkanda 360, an Executive Producer, and a member of the Brazilian Academy of Cinema. She has produced award-winning films in both the Brazilian and international markets.

She is currently in post-production with the Brazilian-Colombian films Drama Queens and Bogotá Fight Clubs. In production, her slate includes the films Wolf Women, A Versão da Mãe, A Versão da Lei, the feature Amantes, and the series Fight Clubs, while also developing over 10 international co-productions.
