André Libonati holds a degree in Journalism and worked for four years as a theater producer at Pequena Central de Produções Artísticas. In 2004, he joined Canal Futura, where he leads audiovisual projects. He has also coordinated several of the channel’s publications, such as the Anuário de Programação, and serves as coordinator of the audiovisual workshops Geração Futura.

In 2023, he produced the feature-length documentary Transo, which explores the sexuality of people with disabilities and was nominated for the 2024 International Emmy Awards.
