Alice de Andrade is a filmmaker, screenwriter, and cultural manager. She holds a Master’s degree in the Valorization of Cinematic Heritage (Paris 8/ECA-USP) and studied Screenwriting at EICTV (Cuba). She has directed three feature films, ten mid-length films for television, and several short films. She coordinated the restoration of Joaquim Pedro de Andrade’s works and created the seminar that led to the ICAIC Newsreels being inscribed in UNESCO’s Memory of the World Register. Since 2020, she has been teaching documentary filmmaking and coordinating audiovisual creation workshops.
