The Sound We Don't See

Workshops

Sound can completely transform the experience of an audiovisual work. In this training session, Carlos de Andrade, Managing Partner at Visom Digital, and Kiko Fernandes, Coordinator at Fundação Getúlio Vargas, demonstrate in practice how sound, silence, space, and movement can construct narratives and sensations. The activity covers sound design, 3D sound, surround sound, Dolby Atmos, ASMR, headphone listening, and the creative possibilities of sound spatialization.
