Rafael Sampaio

Producer, curator, and founder of the production company Klaxon Cultura Audiovisual, through which he produced and co-produced films such as Tell Her I Moving On (Diz a Ela que me Viu Chorar, 2019, by Maíra Bühler), Fiebre (2024, by Elisa Eliash), Zafari (2024, by Mariana Rondón), and On Wheels (Sobre Rodas, 2017, by Mauro D’Addio), among others. He is the founder and director of BrLab since 2011, and also coordinates other project training and development spaces, in addition to collaborating with festivals, funds, and institutions in Brazil and abroad. He holds a specialization in Audience Design from TorinoFilmLab and works as a consultant and advisor in audience design for various projects and organizations, as well as for BrLab itself, where he has organized activities in this field for over ten years.
