R. Marie Santini is a professor at the School of Communication at UFRJ, founder and director of Netlab, which coordinates academic research, teaching, and scientific dissemination activities on disinformation and big tech governance in Brazil and worldwide. She is a researcher for the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq), a "Scientist of Our State" by Faperj, an investigator for the European network Vox-Pol, and one of the five experts on the Nobel Prize Summit council on disinformation.
