Gabriel Medina is a psychologist, a Master's candidate in Human and Social Sciences, and the Municipal Secretary of Science, Technology, and Innovation for Rio de Janeiro. He previously served as the National Secretary of Youth and president of the National Youth Council. Before taking office as Secretary, he headed the Undersecretariat of Training and Technological Projects, coordinating the Naves do Conhecimento network of facilities.
