Aiano Bemfica is a filmmaker, anthropologist, and researcher. His films articulate documentary, memory, archive, and territory, and have been screened at over 80 festivals and biennials in Brazil and abroad. His works include Na Missão com Kadu, Conte Isso Àqueles que Dizem que Fomos Derrotados, awarded at the Festival de Brasília and the Sesc_Videobrasil Biennial, and Entre Nós, Talvez Estejam Multidões. Recently, he directed A Céu Aberto for the Inhotim Institute, and is currently directing Coração American.
