State policies for Brazilian audiovisual

In this presentation for professionals in the sector, Ancine's CEO, Alex Braga, will discuss the numbers and strategies, through public incentives and financing mechanisms, to guarantee the adoption of a state policy for audiovisual. The effort of the industry and, above all, of the cinema regulatory agency, is now focused on maintaining the robustness and independence of national content production in the face of large foreign streaming companies. Without this support and support from the state, buy-out agreements tend to become an even more serious problem, since, in this type of contract, the producer is forced to renounce his copyrights in exchange for full financing of your production budget. Without even sharing in profits, independent producers end up becoming employees of their own creations, with their remuneration calculated solely as a fee for providing services, no different from any above-the-line professional.
