Ulisses Mattos is a screenwriter and journalist. On TV, he wrote programs on Rede Globo (Zorra, Escolinha do Professor Raimundo and Fora de Hora), Multishow, GNT and Canal Brasil. In cinema, he wrote and co-directed, with Cavi Borges, the feature film Sonho de Rui – Um Braddock Possível (Prime Video), he was co-author of Mallandro: O Errado que Deu Certo (release in January 2024), by Marco Antonio Carvalho, and collaborated on the script for Altas Expectativas, by Pedro Antonio and Alvaro Campos. In theater, he is co-author of Mentira Tem Perna Curta and author of Pai Ilegal. He is part of Três Elementos, with Fernando Caruso and Rafael Studart, a trio that performs at pop culture events throughout Brazil. He was editor of Caderno B and the magazine Programa no Jornal do Brasil, where he was also a columnist and TV and film critic.
