Marcelo Ribeiro Freixo is a Brazilian professor and politician, affiliated with the Workers' Party (PT), current president of Embratur. He was a state deputy for three consecutive terms and chaired the Commission for the Defense of Human Rights and Citizenship of the Legislative Assembly of the State of Rio de Janeiro (ALERJ).
