Roberta Canuto

PhD in Film/Communication (PUC-Rio) and Master's in Brazilian Literature (UFMG). Director of the feature film O Nascimento de H. Teixeira (Rio Festival 2024, winner at Curta! Documentaries 2025). Author of four books, nominated for the ABRA Screenplay Award, she works as a curator and coordinator of project selection for RioFilme. She is currently directing the series Filme é História (Curta! Channel).
