Workshop / Masterclass :: The Americans: makeup and costume design as key elements for the success of a TV show

Katie Irish and Lori Hicks, costume and makeup designers respectively, will talk about their work together on The Americans including the process of collaboration and how it changes script to script, evolution of the characters’ look and disguises, and what it is like to work on a scripted drama. The presentation will include fitting photos, research boards, stills from the show, and will welcome questions from the audience throughout. 


On the day of the event, participants should arrive 15 minutes before the desired session. After this time, the remaining available places will be allocated to the waiting line.
