Join Patrick Hegarty – an award-winning writer who has pitched to and developed projects with Fox International, Scott Free Productions, Bad Robot and Plan B – to discuss the steps necessary to take an action/thriller concept from its inception to a finished script. What kind of heroes do execs want? What kind of worlds should the heroes inhabit? How do you successfully listen to feedback and notes to make interesting changes to your script while staying true to your original vision? How and when should the writer push back and defend a scene, character or sequence when a producer or director wants it removed or changed? All these questions and much more will be discussed.
