Alejandra obtained a bachelor of science in Economics and Neuroscience from Brown University in the United States and completed an MBA at Harvard Business School. She worked at Goldman Sachs in their private equity group for over four years (in New York and London) before gaining film development and financing experience in Los Angeles and Brazil. Alejandra joined dynamo in 2011 where she currently holds a position as Director of Investments at dynamo capital, managing dynamo’s film-financing vehicles.

As Head of Acquisitions for French distributor Pretty Pictures Aranka licenses feature films and documentaries from sales agents and filmmakers worldwide. With a focus on prominent directors and especially emerging talent many of the films she acquired premiered at A festivals and have won prestigious awards; for example THE SECRET IN THEIR EYES (Best Foreign Film, Oscar 2010), WINTER’S BONE (Grand Jury Prize, Sundance 2010), THE HOUSEMAID (Cannes, Sélection Officielle 2010), GOODBYE (Best Director, Un Certain Regard 2011) and THE HUNT (Best Actor, Cannes, Sélection Officielle 2010).
She previously worked as Sales Executive for London-based ThinkFilm International, a division of international sales agency, production and financing entity Capitol Films and sister company to the US distributor ThinkFilm. She sold a diverse slate that included world-renowned directors like Nigel Cole or Alex de la Iglesia and films by new talent such as Derek Cianfrance (BLUE VALENTINE). Additionally, Aranka consulted for the features section of Birds Eye View, the UK's film festival dedicated to women filmmakers. Previously, Aranka worked with production and finance outfit Constance Media on a number of features, and was involved in executive producing RESCUE DAWN by Werner Herzog and GOODBYE BAFANA by Bille August amongst others.
Originally from Cologne, Aranka studied Literature and Art History at University College London and earned a Ph.D. in German and Film Studies at The Graduate Center of The City University of New York.

Ari Haas is Director of Production and Acquisitions for Santa Monica-based Myriad Pictures where he is responsible for developing the company’s slate of projects. In the two and a half years he has been with Myriad he worked on the Academy Award ® - nominated film Margin Call, starring Kevin Spacey and Jeremy Irons; Goon, producer Don Carmody’s raunchy hockey comedy starring Seann William Scott, Jay Baruchel and Liev Schrieber, and happythankyoumoreplease, Josh Radnor’s directorial debut. Haas is currently working on the romantic comedy Responsible Adults, starring Katie Holmes and Chace Crawford, to be directed by Jon Poll, Seconds of Pleasure, written and to be directed by Neil Labute, and The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby, starring Jessica Chastain and James McAvoy. Prior to joining Myriad, Haas was a Los Angeles-based Acquisitions Consultant for IFC Films. Before that, at William Morris Independent, Haas worked on Away From Her, Grace Is Gone and Frozen River. BENT-JORGEN PERMUTT co-directed and edited DIANA VREELAND: THE EYE HAS TO TRAVEL (Samuel Goldwyn Films, 2011). He directed and produced LUMO (POV, 2007), a documentary that won a Student Academy Award and was broadcast on PBS. He served as the co-producer and additional editor of CONTROL ROOM (Magnolia Pictures, 2004), and the associate editor of VALENTINO: THE LAST EMPEROR (Acolyte Films, 2008). He wrote, directed, and produced LES VULNERABLES (Perlmutt Productions, 2007), the closing night short of the New York FF and a grand jury prize-winner at AFI Dallas. He also edited and field-produced MAN V. VOLCANO (MARKET ROAD FILMS, 2011) for National Geographic Explorer. Perlmutt has directed, produced, and/or edited short films for organizations including UNICEF, UNIFEM, AMC, MTV, INTERVIEW MAGAZINE, the New York Academy of Medicine, HelpAge, and HEAL Africa. He is a member of the National Board of Review of Motion Pictures, one of Filmmaker Magazine's "25 New Faces of Indie Film," and a recipient of a 2009 Sundance / Sloan grant for his script ON THE LEFT. He has taught at Columbia University and all over Africa for organizations including Mira Nair's MAISHA FILMLAB and Peter Gabriel's WITNESS. Perlmutt holds a BA from Brown University and an MFA from Columbia University.

Chiara Gelardin received her B.A. degree (Magna Cum Laude) from Barnard College, Columbia University, where she majored in Comparative Literature and Film Theory. After graduation, she worked as a paralegal at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton in New York, predominantly working on Latin American transactions (she is a native Spanish speaker), and at Freshfields in London. She went on to complete a Graduate Diploma in Law and the Bar Vocational Course and is a member of the Bar of England and Wales.
After almost 2 years in the legal department at Momentum Pictures, Chiara joined HanWay’s sister company, Recorded Picture Company, as Business Affairs Executive in April 2009. Her role spanned both companies — working closely across all aspects of business affairs for RPC’s productions and catalogue as well as negotiating and drafting acquisitions contracts for HanWay.
She joined the HanWay sales team in the summer of 2011.

Christophe Dimitri Réveille - CDR-PROD (France)

CDR-PROD have always been fascinated by outcast characters. Between 2003 and 2012, the owner of CDR-PROD co-wrote Benigno's biography (a revolutionary fighter who survived Che's guerilla war in Bolivia) with Benigno himself. At the same time, between 2005 and 2009, CDR-PROD produced a four-hours documentary on one the greatest American acting coaches, Jack Waltzer, in order to give a better understanding of his teaching. The directors followed him through 50 years of the Actors' Studio history, and in the shadows of his famous students and friends (from Sigourney Weaver to Robert Duval). In parallel, CDR-PROD develop the screenplay of "Hannah’s gift", from the original bestseller "Hannah's Gift" by Maria Housden and actually CDR-PROD is in pre-production. It tells the story of the author's three years old daughter, Hannah, dying from cancer. This project comes at a moment of deep personal reflection and exploration of the experience of losing a loved one.

Daniela Mignani – GNT – Globosat

Daniela Mignani began her career at Banco Central, and then went to Infoglobo and Grupo Multiplan – Renasce. In 2000, started working in Globosat, where became an expert in the pay TV market. She worked as Marketing Manager at USA Channel (actually Universal) and at Multishow. In 2010, also as Marketing Manager, got in GNT, and directly participated in preparation and releasing of the channel’s new programming, in March of 2011. In August of the same year, took over the direction of GNT.

Darren Goldberg is a founding partner of Atlantic Pictures. Atlantic Pictures produces feature films, commercials and branded content and functions as a US co-producer for international productions shooting in the United States. Most recently, Atlantic produced “The Brass Teapot,” Starring Juno Temple and Michael Angarano, which premiered at the 2012 Toronto film festival and sold to Magnolia Pictures. Atlantic’s previous film, “The Art of Getting By,” debuted at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival and sold to Fox Searchlight. Additional credits include: Brant Sersen’s “Splinterheads,” Tom Obrien’s “Fairhaven,” and Lex Sidon’s “Grand Street”. In 1992, Didier Costet created Paris-based SWIFT PRODUCTIONS with the goal of specializing in the production, acquisition and distribution of quality motion pictures. In addition to TV distribution (200 titles) and a video label, theatrical film distribution is handled through its sister company EQUATION.
In 2008, Didier Costet produced Brillante Ma. MENDOZA’s Serbis. It was the first Filipino film selected for the Cannes official competition since 1984. In 2009, he produced both MENDOZA’s Kinata y (which won the Cannes Best Director Prize) and Lola (selected in Venice official competition). In 2011, he produced South African Oliver HERMANUS’ Beauty (Un Certain Regard Cannes). It was the first Afrikaans film to screen at the festival and the first official French/South African co-production. The same year, he produced MENDOZA’s latest feature, CAPTIVE, starring Isabelle Huppert, which makes its world premiere in official competition at the 2012 Berlin festival.

Fernando Sokolowicz is a businessman that began his career as a journalist, and then went to the audiovisual industry 20 years ago. With a degree in journalism for La Plata National Universi, he is the president of the daily Pagina 12,which celebrated 25 years in May.
He integrated and collaborated wth several human rights organizations in Argentina in the past three decades. In his media activity, he was president of the Audiovisual Producers Association from Mercosul.
In 2002, Sokolowicz was manager of the Channel 9 (Buenos Aires, Argentina), and also worked as producer in several public TV shows, such as Mosaic (ATC), in 1995 (Buenos Aires, Argentina), Hora Libre (ATC), in 1996 (Buenos Aires, Argentina) and the documentary series Medio Ambiente, in 1998.
Founder of the producers Aleph Media SA, Maiz Produciones, Hasta La Victoria SA, Aleph Producciones, Aleph Cine SA, among others, with which he produced over 50 movies in the last 15 years, with the highest quality in audiovisual contents developed to different formats, following the whole process, since the moment of the conception of the project and its whole development: design of production, technique, content, audience, exhibition and commercialization.

Since 2000, Goyave Production has produced twenty short films and documentary films (Goyave presented 6 films at the 2011 Cannes festival). Goyave Production is currently developing two feature films, which are both international co productions.

Damien Mc Donald has worked in the movie industry for the past twelve years, first at the International Sales Dept. at MK2, then in Distribution at UFD and Pan-européenne, and as a Producer. He also participated in the Franco-German Masterclass Workshop for Young European Producers (Femis / Ludwigsburg Filmakademie), bringing in his sharp knowledge in the field of European Co-Producing, as well as his very international contacts network.
Frédéric Malègue is an expert in film financing in the banking business, and a definite know-how as an Executive Producer. Among other things, he created Cininvest at the French Société Générale bank, the first movie-box-office-performance-linked bond issue, as well as the first movie-linked warrant.

Gerson Sanginitto is a producer and director. He studied at California State University Long Beach, and has directed the award-wining short films Contend and The TV Broke. He founded Reef Pictures, in Los Angeles, and Sophia Filmes, in Brazil, which is affiliate to Reef.
His feature films Beyond the Ring and The Morge were awarded and selected in international festivals. He participated in Commander and Chief, Maximum Cage Fighting, Big Game and The Mothers of Chico Xavier.
Gerson has just released Area Q, which was nominated to best movie and direction. Future Projects: Dress to Marry, Conspiracy, West Zone, Esmeralda, Where Were You in Rio When the Lights Went Out, Double or Nothing and Carnival Queens.

Horacio G. Grinberg - Grinfilms (Argentina)

He is an important feature film producer, such as El Séptimo Arcángel (2003), El Último Bandoneón (2007), Monoblock (2006) and Las Manos (2006), winner of the best foreign movie prize in Goya Awards. 
He is producer and screenwriter of Martín Fierro (2007), animation movie with Fontanarrosa's draws. Her produced ANIMA Buenos Aires, an unconventional infant animation feature film, based on a succesful Argentine romance, with over 24 editions in Argentina and Latin America.

João Pedro Nava, 50, is director of distribution at SIC S.A and member of the audit committee of SIC Esperança. His presence in Group Imprensa bring us back to the year 1991, when he started as assistant of the Controljornal's financial director. Created with Prodigo Till Death Do Us Part, a passion crime factual series, that raised the audience of A&E in Brasil over 250% above benchmark in its premiere and was the record of online traffic for network's site. Also in 2012, produced a Brazilian version of the Emmy awarded series Intervention, shot in São Paulo and Rio for A&E.
Mixer’s executive producer from January 2007 to March 2010, Krishna Mahon produced in 2009 for History Channel the series Cidade Secreta, São Paulo Sob Ataque for Discovery Channel, winner of the Platinum award at Aurora Awards and other TV programs.

Leonard Farlinger - New Real Films (Canadá)

Leonard Farlinger is a writer/director/producer and co-founder of Canadian production company, New Real Films. He is currently producing Bruce Labruce’s upcoming feature, Gerontophilia. Leonard’s lastest feature as writer/director is a road movie entitled I’m Yours starring Karine Vanasse (Polytechnique, Pan Am), Rossif Sutherland (High Life, Poor Boy’s Game, King) and Don McKellar (Blindness, Last Night). I’m Yours premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival 2011. In 2010, Leonard produced Trigger directed by Bruce McDonald starring Molly Parker and Tracy Wright, named one of TIFF’s top ten films of the year. In 2009, he produced Leslie, My Name Is Evil and in 2008, he co-produced Otto, or Up With Dead People by Bruce LaBruce that premiered at the Sundance and Berlin Film Festivals. In 2007, Leonard directed the feature film All Hat written by novelist Brad Smith starring Luke Kirby, Rachael Leigh Cook and Lisa Ray that premiered at TIFF. He produced Monkey Warfare which won a Special Jury Prize at the Toronto International Film Festival 2006. In 2004, he directed the Gemini-winning movie-of-the-week In The Dark starring Kathleen Robertson. Leonard’s first feature as writer/director, The Perfect Son starring Colm Feore and David Cubitt was nominated for two Best Actor Genies.
New Real Films has completed 12 feature films in a decade. She was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and has a degree in journalism. She began her career in TV, at age 20, in Globosat's production and archive areas. With a large experience in all stages od audiovisual production, such as screenplay, format criation, direction, executive production, and she is an expert in formt developing and new TV business.
Also in the executive production area, she worked in the reality show Temptation Island Brazil, shot in Dominician Republic, in 2002, and presented by SBT and Fox in the same year, was the first reality show of brazilian TV. Besides production area, Monica was hoster of the exhibition Manifesto Porco com arte no CCBB, which put together big names of brazilian arts.

Natsu Furuichi is an international sales agent at Magnolia Pictures, a U.S. feature film distribution company where she was involved in worldwide sales of titles such as GOD BLESS AMERICA, TROLLHUNTER, and THE ABCs OF DEATH. She began her career in film as a producer’s assistant and then development executive at Hart Sharp Entertainment (BOYS DON’T CRY, YOU CAN COUNT ON ME, PROOF, EVENING, REVOLUTIONARY ROAD). Subsequently, she worked at HBO Films where she liaised between sister companies Pictureshouse and New Line Cinema on the release of GRACIE, KIT KITTREDGE: AN AMERICAN GIRL among others. Natsu currently resides in New York City.

Rene Bourdages is a veteran entertainment executive with more than 30 years of senior level operating experience. Mr. Bourdages held many high level executive positions in Canada before relocating to Los Angeles and focusing his managerial skills on entertainment media consulting. 

Prior to founding Elevado Media, he was President of CBC merchandising from 2004 through 2011. He has also held Executive Vice President positions at Quebecor/Groupe TVA and Astral Media Movie Premium TV channels with direct responsibility for up to 1,200 employees and gross revenues of nearly $200 million. 

Previously, Mr. Bourdages served as Director of the Harold Greenberg Fund, which finances the development and production of Canadian feature films.

He holds a Certificate in Business and Management of Entertainment from UCLA. He is a Chartered Board Director, Laval University Governance Program and was selected as one of Canada’s Top 40 under 40.

Mr. Bourdages is a member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, the American Film Institute and the Economic Club of Canada.

Roya joined Twentieth Century Fox in 2006 and has served as Director of International Marketing for Fox Searchlight Pictures and Fox International Productions since 2010. Recent campaigns include BLACK SWAN, THE DESCENDANTS and THE BEST EXOTIC MARIGOLD HOTEL for Fox Searchlight, as well as MISS BALA, LA CARA OCULTA and EVERYBODY HAS A PLAN for Fox International Productions. She earned her MBA in Marketing from Pepperdine University and her MFA in Film Producing from UCLA.

Silvia Elias works as local content manager at Turner Broadcasting System, where she is responsible for assessing opportunities of content acquisitions, make contact with producers and validate, in partnership with Ancine, the projects that are according with the law 12.485/11. To do so, she keeps up with partners producers, from creation to the final development, choosing the proper channel to each new program. Before be part of the Turner group, Silvia worked at big programmers, being responsible for competitions and content budget. Previously, she worked at HBO, RedeTV!, among other companies, from producer to art director, and she has a degree in Radio & Television for FAAP and graduate in Film in the New York Film Academy, in NY.

Summer Shelton is a freelance producer born and raised in North Carolina. She often works alongside critically acclaimed director Ramin Bahrani, having been the Associate Producer of his upcoming feature At Any Price, starring Dennis Quaid and Zac Efron, which premiered in competition at the 2012 Venice Film Festival and his third feature Goodbye Solo (2008), an official selection of the Venice Film Festival and won the FIPRESCI International Critics Prize for Best Film, and Co-Producer of his short Plastic Bag (2009), which premiered as the opening night film of the Corto Cortissimo in the Venice Film Festival and screened at Telluride and New York Film Festivals. Plastic Bag features the voice of legendary filmmaker Werner Herzog and an original score from Kjartan Sveinsson of Sigur Ros. Aside from her work with Bahrani, she has worked as freelance production manager and coordinator on various independent films. She is the inaugural 2012 Bingham Ray Fellow with the Sundance Institute’s Creative Producing Fellowship.

Tito Loizeau is a serial entrepreneur selected by Endeavor Fundation in1999. He developed Promored Group, one of the largest marketing agencies in the region with branches is 11 countries including Mexico, Argentina, Chile, USA and Spain, and with clients like Pepsico, Kraft, Unilever, LG, Nestle, Banamex and others
In 2007 he started a new venture, creating the first Barbie Store of the world in partnership with Mattel. Actually Barbie Store have 7 stores in Argentina, Uruguay, Mexico and Peru, and Tito is de VP of this company.
In 2010, he decided to invest in the kids media content, with the idea to export those contents from Latin America to the world. This new company, called CienPies Contenidos developed in the last 4 years 5 differents IPs. One of them ( ZTV) have actually 14 weekly hours in TELEFE Argentina, and the other 4 are in process of negotiation with the biggest regional broadcasters.

Vanessa Ragone - Haddock Films (Argentina)

Vanessa Ragone was in Argentina and performed studies at the Cinematographic Realization and Experimentation Center (ENERC, former CERC). She developes an important teaching career in production and documentary production at EICTV, Cuba, and also at ENERC and FUC, both in Buenos Aires.
In 1996 she founded Zona Audiovisual, an independent filmproduction company through which she produced “Sisters”, the first film by Julia Solomonoff.
In 2006 she co-founded Haddock Films a filmmaking company specially dedicated to films in coproductions, stablishing it as the argentine producer of the biggest growth and projection, crowning a succesfull year in 2009 with the theathrical release of the extraordinary success “The secret in their eyes” Academy Award winner Best Film in Foreign Language 2010.
